Who controls your personal data
EVERLANIX COMMERCE acts as the controller of personal data collected through its wholesale furniture website and business enquiry process. You may contact us about data protection or exercise your rights using the details below.
Information we collect
When a visitor submits a wholesale enquiry or contacts us, we collect the information necessary to respond and manage the commercial relationship, which may include:
- Name and business affiliation, where supplied.
- Business email address, telephone number and delivery location.
- Products selected, lot quantities, requested configurations, estimated quotation amounts and messages submitted.
- Correspondence, quotations, order and invoice records for concluded transactions.
- Technical and security information such as IP address, browser information and access logs, where recorded by our hosting and security infrastructure.
We do not request payment-card details through the wholesale enquiry form.
Why we use data and the legal basis
We process personal data for defined business purposes under the GDPR:
- Responding to enquiries and preparing quotations: steps requested before entering into a contract, or legitimate interests in responding to business contacts.
- Managing confirmed orders and deliveries: performance of the relevant contract, where the data subject is a party, or legitimate interests in administering B2B transactions.
- Invoices, accounting and statutory records: compliance with legal obligations.
- Security, fraud prevention and website operation: legitimate interests in maintaining a secure and reliable website.
- Optional promotional communications: consent where required, or another lawful basis applicable to relevant B2B communications, together with the ability to object at any time.
We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
How enquiries are handled
When you submit an enquiry, the details are transmitted to our business team for review. We use the information to identify the furniture and quantities requested, discuss finishes or configurations, prepare a quotation and contact you regarding your proposed order.
Submitting a request does not itself confirm a purchase. You can ask us to correct inaccurate information during the enquiry process.
Who can receive the information
Personal data may be accessible to authorised staff who manage customer relations, quotations, sales, accounting and fulfilment. Where necessary, service providers acting on our instructions may process relevant information for hosting, communications, customer support, IT security, accounting or logistics.
We share only information reasonably necessary for a defined purpose and require appropriate contractual, organisational and technical safeguards from processors. We may also disclose information where legally required.
International data transfers
Our operations focus on France. If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we apply the transfer safeguards required by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, where applicable. Details about relevant providers and safeguards can be requested using the contact information below.
How long we keep information
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to statutory accounting, tax, commercial and dispute-resolution retention requirements.
Business enquiry records are reviewed and deleted or archived when no longer necessary. If used for B2B prospecting, prospect information is generally retained for no more than three years following the last meaningful interaction, unless another lawful justification applies. Accounting documents and invoices may be subject to longer legal retention periods, including ten years for certain accounting records in France.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use technical cookies or similar storage essential to its operation and security. Where analytics, personalisation or other non-essential trackers requiring consent are used, visitors will be provided with the appropriate information and choices before those trackers are activated.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect some functionality.
Your GDPR rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and receive data in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
To make a request, email support@everlanixcommerce.com. We may seek information reasonably needed to verify your identity. We aim to respond within one month, subject to any lawful extension.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, CNIL.
Data security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data, including access controls and security procedures appropriate to the nature of the data. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Updates and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, processing practices or legal obligations. The current version and its date are published on this page. For any questions about privacy, please contact support@everlanixcommerce.com.
